Srimad Ramayanam at Abhayam
As a part of the 20th Aradhana of Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar, Srimad Ramayana Navaham took place at Abhayam Divine Shelter, Guduvanchery.
(The event took place in strict adherence to all COVID-19 norms laid by the Government)
Srimad Ramayanam Moola Parayanam was performed by Sri Sanath Kumar, Sri Ashwin and Sri Anand.
Sri Swamiji discoursed in the evenings from 1st to 7th Match 2021.
Sri Vishnupriyaji discoursed on Sundara Kandam and Sri Ramanujamji on Vibheeshana Saranagathi on 8th March.
On 9th March Sri Gadadharan discoursed on Yuddha Kandam and Sri Rama Pattabishekam.
Concluding lecture on 9th March was given by Sri Swamiji on the glory of Srimad Ramayanam and Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar. In his concluding lecture Sri Swamiji mentioned with appreciation the Guru Seva done by Sri Sundararaman and Smt Prabha Sundararaman and their sons and daughters in law- Mr Balasubramaniam and Mrs Chandra Balasubramaniam; Mr Sridhar and Mrs Mangala Gowri Sridhar by buying the land where Abhayam stands today and constructing the Bhajan Mandir on their own expense and dedicating it to their Guru Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar, under the guidance of our Sri Swamiji. Sri Sundararaman is Sri Swamiji’s cousin brother and their entire family are very close devotees of Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar for the past several decades.
They have also acquired the adjacent plot for expansion of Abhayam using their personal funds. Bhoomi pooja at this plot was performed on 5th March in the holy presence of Sri Swamiji.
On 10th March 2021, Ekadasa rudra Japam was done and abishekam was performed to Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar’s moorthi. In the evening, there was a Violin recital by Kumari Nandika and Kumari Deepika followed by procession of the Divine Portrait of Bhagavan Yogiramsurathkumar led by Sri Swamiji.
