122nd Jayanthi Celebration of Sri Kamakshidasa

Sri Swamiji presided over the 122nd Jayanthi of Mahatma Sri Kamakshi Dasa on 29th Dec 2022 at Ranjani Hall, Nanganallur, Chennai.

The event commenced with an invocation followed by narration of excerpts from the biography of Mahatma Sri Kamakshi Dasa.

Sri Swamiji then blessed the gathering with his Anugraha Baashanam.

Sangitha Kalanidhi Neyveli Sri Santhanagopalan along with his discerning disciples and supporting artistes presented the holy hymns from Sri Kamakshi Tiruppugazh.

The crowd remained absorbed to the soul stirring viruthams and his purist style of rendering the ragas.
The performance included Annaiyai Ulagil in Kharaharapriya, Samayam Aarilum in Arabhi, Kumkuma Panchadasi in Ragamalika, Poorani Kaarani in Kurinji to name a few.

Sri Swamiji thoroughly enjoyed the soulful concert.

The event was concluded by honouring the artistes and a vote of thanks.
